(a) w/ Manual (SOS) Switch: Check that the current position of the vehicle is within the HD weather and traffic or DCM communication function coverage area. w/o Manual (SOS) Switch: Check that the current position of the vehicle is within the HD weather and traffic coverage area. OK: Vehicle is within coverage area.
(a) Check for symptoms (poor sound quality, sounds cannot be heard, etc.) during conventional FM radio broadcasting.
(a) Check for symptoms (Unable to connect to call center, etc.) with an ordinary safety connect.
