DESCRIPTION

The forward recognition camera receives G sensor signals from the airbag ECU assembly via CAN communication.

If the forward recognition camera receives a G sensor malfunction signal from the airbag ECU assembly, DTC C1A48 is stored.

2 seconds after the power switch is turned on (IG), a signal from the airbag ECU assembly indicating that there is a G sensor malfunction is detected by the forward recognition camera for 5 seconds or more.

NOTICE:

The lane departure alert system (w/ steering control) uses the CAN communication system. First, confirm that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system. Refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.

HINT:

If DTC C1A48 is output by the lane departure alert system (w/ steering control), perform troubleshooting for the electronically controlled brake system.
