DESCRIPTION If a door glass does not slide smoothly or a power window regulator motor assembly or door window regulator sub-assembly does not operate smoothly, the jam protection function may be triggered automatically, resulting in the auto up operation being unable to fully close the power window. HINT: This symptom may occur for any of the power windows. PROCEDURE
(a) Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly (applicable location). Click here
(a) Check that each power window moves when the auto up and down functions of the multiplex network master switch assembly, power window regulator switch assembly or rear power window regulator switch assembly are operated. Click here OK: Auto up and down functions are normal (applicable location).
(a) Remove the power window regulator motor assembly and door window regulator sub-assembly. (b) Install the door glass to the door glass run. (c) Check that the power window regulator motor assembly and door window regulator sub-assembly operate smoothly. (d) Check that the door glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand. NOTICE: Make sure to perform initialization again. HINT: Ensure the following:
