REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

2. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

HINT:

When installing a bench type rear seat cushion cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

(a) for Gasoline Model:

(1) Engage the 2 fasteners.

(2) Using hog ring pliers, install 22 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

• Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
• Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

(3) Engage the 4 fasteners.

(4) Using hog ring pliers, install 23 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

• Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
• Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

(b) for HV Model:

(1) Using hog ring pliers, install 22 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

(2) Using hog ring pliers, install 22 new hog rings.

NOTICE:

• Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
• Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

(3) Engage the 4 fasteners.

(4) Using hog ring pliers, install 23 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

• Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
• Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

(c) Engage the 2 hooks.

(d) Engage the 3 hooks to install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT BASE COVER

(a) Engage the guide and claw as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(b) Install the child restraint seat base cover with the screw.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for all child restraint seat base covers.

4. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER

(a) Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the child restraint seat cover as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

HINT:

Use the same procedure for all child restraint seat covers.

5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for RH Side)

HINT:

When installing a separate type rear seatback cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

(a) Engage the fastener.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

• Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.
• Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

(c) Engage the 5 hooks to install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad. NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

7. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)

(a) Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(c) Using hog ring pliers, install a new hog ring. NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover. Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

(d) Engage the 4 hooks.

(e) Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL (for RH Side)

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install a new rear seatback upper lock bezel.

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE (for RH Side)

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER (for RH Side)

(a) Install the rear seatback hinge cover as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

(a) Install the bush as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(b) Engage the pin and temporarily install the rear seat center armrest assembly as shown in the illustration.

	Install in this Direction (1)
	Install in this Direction (2)

(c) Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the bush and bolt. Torque: 7.0 N·m {71 kgf·cm, 62 in·lbf}

12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for LH Side)

HINT:

When installing a separate type rear seatback cover, refer to Precaution in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

(a) Engage the fastener.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with 6 new hog rings in the order shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:

• Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.
• Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)

(a) Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(c) Engage the 2 hooks.

(d) Close the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL (for LH Side)

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install a new rear seatback upper lock bezel.

16. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

17. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

(a) Install the rear side seatback cover sub-assembly LH to the rear side seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

Install in this Direction

(b) Engage the 14 hooks.

(c) Install the 2 nuts. Torque: 8.0 N·m {82 kgf·cm, 71 in·lbf}

18. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH (for LH Side)

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH with the 2 screws.

19. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

20. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

21. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH (for RH Side)

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
