PROCEDURE
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (b) Turn the power switch on (IG). (c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Utility / Vehicle Control History (RoB). Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Utility
(d) Read and record the Vehicle Control History (Hybrid Control).
(e) Turn the power switch off.
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (b) Turn the power switch on (IG). (c) Read the Freeze Frame Data of DTC P062F46. HINT: The value of the Freeze Frame Data item BATT Voltage immediately after the power switch is turned on (IG) may be 16.00 V (15.99 V), however this does not indicate a malfunction. (1) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes. Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes(2) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Freeze Frame Data and make a note of the value of Total Distance Traveled. (d) Read the data recorded in the Vehicle Control History item (Auxiliary Battery Voltage Low (HV) or Auxiliary Battery Voltage Low (Inverter)) which was stored when the auxiliary battery voltage dropped below the threshold. (1) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Utility / Vehicle Control History (RoB). Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Utility
(2) According to the display on the Techstream, read the data of the Vehicle Control History data and make a note of the value of Total Distance Traveled. (e) Compare the values in the Freeze Frame Data and the Vehicle Control History.
(f) Turn the power switch off.
(a) Turn the power switch off and turn on the high beam headlights for 30 seconds. This will remove the surface charge from the auxiliary battery. (b) Measure the auxiliary battery voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Voltage:
HINT: This DTC may be stored when the power switch is turned off when the auxiliary battery voltage is low. In this case, when the auxiliary battery voltage is no longer low, after the power switch is turned on (IG) and then off several times, the vehicle will be judged as normal and the master warning light will turn off.
