DESCRIPTION When a new driving support ECU assembly is installed, it receives vehicle specification information (destination, steering wheel position, 2WD or AWD, etc.) from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and stores the information. DTC C1A02 is stored when the driving support ECU assembly cannot store the vehicle specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT NOTICE: When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored. PROCEDURE
